Link Round Up

Hey everyone! Here’s the link round up for the week, but I wanted to get your opinion. Do you think I should keep including reviews on the round ups, or just news/articles/lists/etc?

Do you click through to reviews? Is there anything else you’d like to see included in link round ups? Without feedback, I think I’ll probably stop including the reviews, because they don’t seem to get a lot of interest and they are the most time-consuming, but I’d love to hear your thoughts!

Another option is to post the articles and news I find most interesting in separate posts throughout the week, and include the rest in the round ups.

    1. Thanks, wolfshowl! Luckily, two places already do that! Elisa and Lambda Literary both post the queer books new this month. I might sort out the les/bi/etc ones and post them at some point, but while I’m still going to school and working, it’s a little too much for now. Thanks for the input!

  1. I usually skip the review part.

Sometimes I’ll read through them to see what books have been reviewed but most of the time I focus on the articles and news part. It’s the one I find most interesting. So I guess I wouldn’t mind much if the review links went away.

    1. Thanks, Allysse! I’ve been thinking I might link the more interesting and in-depth reviews still, but the rest I’ll just be posting on twitter and skipping the round up. The ones with nice covers might end up on tumblr, too.

  2. Hi Danika – I don’t have time to troll the internet and LOVE that you do it for me. I read each line, top to bottom, including the reviews. I appreciate seeing what other people are reading and often follow the links you provide. Which usually ends up with me buying ANOTHER book! So see, the reviews are great for the economy! I hope you keep them.

    1. Thanks, Baxter! I appreciate the input. I’d decided to compromise. I won’t be including the reviews in the link round ups, but I will still be keeping track of them. I’ll be posting them to my twitter account as they come up. So now you can find them at!/Lesbrary

I don’t post much else on twitter, just links to posts as they come up, so you don’t have to sift through them or anything.
